Civil Project Manager
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team in Queensland, with projects predominately in the Western Corridor of SEQ from Ipswich to Toowoomba.
As Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing complex construction projects mostly in the land subdivision and infrastructure sector, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute project plans, managing all aspects of the construction process
* Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, subcontractors and project team members
* Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
* Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
* Manage project resources to optimise efficiency and profitability
* Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders and senior management
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the project team
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager on civil projects
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex civil construction projects from start to finish
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
* Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
* Experience with construction methods using GPS technology
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard
