What You'll Do
As a Porter, you're more than just the first and last smile our guests see — you're the heartbeat of their arrival and departure experience. You'll:
* Warmly welcome guests at the door, assist with luggage, and escort them to their rooms while sharing a genuine smile and local insider tips.
* Anticipate needs before they're voiced — from offering an umbrella on a rainy day to ensuring a late-night snack reaches the right room.
* Coordinate with the Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure every guest interaction is seamless and personal.
* Assist with transportation requests and help guests navigate Sydney with thoughtful recommendations.
* Be a lobby ambassador while keeping public areas looking pristine and inviting at all times.
* Support with deliveries, messages, and special requests — no detail is too small when it comes to guest comfort.
* Be a walking source of knowledge about the hotel, its services, and the surrounding neighbourhood.
* Create memorable moments for guests through authentic conversation and attentive service, leaving them with the sense that Kimpton Margot Sydney is their home away from home.
