Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team at Peoplebank. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical assistance to our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hardware Installation and Configuration: Install, set up, and configure desktop PC and laptop hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to MS Teams meeting room equipment, general IT problems, and software applications.
* User Training and Support: Facilitate user training sessions and provide ongoing technical support to ensure users are proficient in using our systems.
* Project Work and Collaboration: Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement technical solutions that meet business needs.
* Aftersales Support: Provide occasional participation in after-hours/weekend support and deployment activities as required.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: A qualification in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience supporting IT technologies.
* Skills and Experience: Proficient in supporting PC & Laptop Hardware, Windows 10/11 operating systems, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office, and basic networking concepts.
* Prioritization and Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively, and maintain a strong focus on customer service.
* Communication and Attendance: Excellent communication skills and regular attendance are essential for this role.
