The Dunes Ocean Grove is looking for our next Restaurant Manager to lead one of the Bellarine Peninsula's busiest and most loved waterfront venues.
With our current manager leaving the industry, this role is suited to either an experienced Restaurant Manager or a high-performing Assistant Manager ready to take the next step. This is a big role, leading a team of up to 50 staff during peak periods, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and genuinely enjoys leading from the front.
Set right on the water at Ocean Grove Main Beach, The Dunes is a local favourite and a destination for visitors year-round. We operate lunch and dinner daily from 11:30 am, with breakfast on weekends, alongside a high-volume takeaway kiosk operating from 6:30 am.
The role
You'll take ownership of day-to-day restaurant operations, service standards, team leadership, and guest experience. Working closely with our senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in driving consistency, developing people, and bringing your own energy and flair to the venue.

About you
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Supervisor in a high-volume venue
* Confident leading and developing large, diverse teams (up to 50 staff in peak season)
* Strong understanding of FOH operations, labour control, and key financial KPIs
* High standards, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership
* Clear communicator with the ability to lead calmly under pressure
* A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and guest experience
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a busy service environment
