We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Growth & Partnerships Advisor to support the growth of our Apprenticeship & Traineeship division, together with coaching, mentoring and supporting our existing trainees and apprentices in their career pathway journey. Based in either Townsville or Mackay, this position is pivotal in building partnerships and delivering tailored, outcome-driven workforce solutions.
This is a dynamic and blended role where you will take the lead in identifying and securing new business opportunities, promoting apprenticeships and traineeships to employers across a wide range of industries. You'll consult with key stakeholders to develop workforce strategies that align business needs with sustainable career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industry sectors to grow and increase our portfolio and achieving KPI targets
* Promote apprenticeship and traineeship programs as essential components of workforce development
* Collaborate with clients to understand their workforce needs and deliver tailored solutions
* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, RTOs, and industry bodies
* Pastoral care and monitoring of apprentices and trainees both on and off the job
* General Administration including reporting, timesheets and data entry
* Recruitment and Induction of new apprentices and trainees
* Safety Management, Workplace Risk Assessments, Safety Conversations and Safety Talks
You're a strategic thinker, confident communicator, and relationship builder with a strong understanding of the employment and training landscape. You thrive in a results-focused environment and are passionate about delivering outcomes that benefit both businesses and job seekers.
You Will Bring
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
* Knowledge of apprenticeships, traineeships, or the vocational education and training (VET) sector
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work autonomously, manage a pipeline of opportunities, and achieve growth targets
* Current driver's licence and flexibility to travel within the region as required
