About the Role
The Shire of Murray, a progressive organisation located in Pinjarra, is seeking a dynamic and results-orientated professional with extensive experience in Ranger and Community Safety.
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, you will lead Ranger and Community Safety team in a positive and proactive manner, build strong relationships within the team, throughout the organisation and with the community and demonstrate service excellence in all aspects of the role.
The position on offer is a 5-year full-time contract, working 76 hours per fortnight across a 9-day fortnight. A contract salary of $125,000 to $130,000 per annum, plus use of Shire vehicle will be offered.

We want to hear from you if you have:
* Comprehensive knowledge of core Ranger and Community Safety practices and procedures in a local government context.
* Experience and knowledge of emergency management and emergency response in a local government context.
* Comprehensive knowledge and ability to interpret and administer Acts, regulations, local laws, policies in relation to State and local law enforcement.
* Demonstrated experience in the supervision, recruitment, mentoring and development of staff.
* Demonstrated experience in Court matters relating to local government activities, with an emphasis on preparing and conducting prosecutions.
