We are seeking a skilled and organized production coordinator to join our manufacturing team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key role in scheduling and coordinating production to meet customer demand, optimize factory throughput, and ensure all manufacturing timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain production schedules (daily / weekly / monthly) to meet demand and delivery targets.
* Coordinate with procurement / materials planning to ensure availability of raw materials and components.
* Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required to address bottlenecks or delays.
* Liaise with manufacturing, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely output, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
* Generate and maintain production reports, track key production metrics (e.g. output rates, downtime, material usage).
* Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production planning, efficiency, and resource utilization.
* Communicate production plans and changes to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Prior experience in production scheduling within manufacturing role is essential.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.
* Good communication and coordination skills to engage with multiple teams (production, procurement, warehouse, quality, logistics).
* Competency in planning / scheduling software and MS Office (especially Excel).
* Ability to analyze data, produce reports, and make decisions to improve scheduling efficiency.
* Optional but advantageous: background or familiarity with footwear or apparel manufacturing.
