Position
E&I Quality Control (QC) Inspector – responsible for ensuring quality compliance in electrical & instrumentation work across projects.
Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to the approved Project Quality Plan (PQP) on-site.
* Perform QC activities related to Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) work on-site.
* Ensure timely completion of planned E&I QC inspections and report deviations from engineering deliverables, specifications, and standards.
* Follow up on identified deviations to ensure compliance is achieved.
* Retain and maintain necessary documentation for QA/QC activities, including inspection, audit, and surveillance reports.
* Provide input to weekly and monthly QC reports as required by the QC Electrical Lead.
* Maintain competencies and work standards, and initiate training where necessary.
* Ensure all test documentation, as-builts, commissioning, and handover documentation are completed, up-to-date and traceable.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications: Australian Electrical Trade Certificate, QLD License, Instrumentation certification, White Card, Confined Space, Heights, EEHA and CPR/LVR.
Experience: Proven QC experience in oil and gas, familiarity with Australian Electrical Standards, strong report‐writing and record‐keeping skills, and strong communication abilities.
