The Role
The primary purpose of this position is to create value for the AWE business through, but not limited to:
* Leading, developing, and managing IT activities and functions to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that enable the business to operate efficiently
* Serving as a bridge between business objectives and technology capabilities, integrating local requirements with group standards
We are seeking
* An IT Manager with demonstrated prior experience in providing operational IT support to similar companies or industry (Tier 2 or Tier 1 Commercial or Civil Builder)
* Someone who has tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to the function area – e.g. Tertiary Degree in Computing Science, ICT or similar relevant field
* Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a senior IT or mgmt. role working within Business Systems, IT Operations or Information Security
* Proven competency in leading a small team and being a leader able to personally support and assist with help-desk tasks – This is a hands‐on role!!
* Strong attention to detail and strong problem‐solving skills
* Strong Communication and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written.
* The role involves working closely and collaboratively with all roles across our Head Office and Project Sites for A W Edwards and Rintoul – The role is part of the World Operations IT Model that has been defined for Bouygues Construction and works collaboratively with the central teams of BYCN IT France and our APAC Regional team in Vietnam
