We are looking for an Assistant Manager who wants to be part of that.
This is a hands on leadership role for someone who can lead from the front, hold standards, support the team, and help drive a consistently strong customer experience every day.
About the role
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help lead daily operations across the store and support the performance of both front of house and kitchen teams.
This role is not about standing back and directing from a distance. It is about being present in service, setting the tone, solving problems quickly, and helping the team deliver a store that is clean, switched on, and customer focused from open to close.
You will play a key role in:
* Leading shifts and supporting day to day operations
* Driving strong customer service and team engagement
* Supporting roster coverage, shift flow and service execution
* Upholding food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards
* Helping the team stay accountable to the details that matter
* Supporting the Store Manager to improve performance across labour, service and standards
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone with the right mix of leadership, work ethic and pride in standards.
You will likely have:
* Previous leadership experience in hospitality, fast food, retail or customer service
* A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead a team
* A natural sense of urgency and ownership
* The ability to stay calm and effective in a fast paced environment
* Good judgement and common sense
* High personal standards for cleanliness, presentation and customer service
* Flexibility to work across weekdays, nights and weekends
* Food Handler certification or equivalent food safety knowledge
* For someone who plans to stay in the role for at least 12 months
Most importantly, you need to be someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience and wants to be part of a store that aims to do things properly.
