Graphic Artist
The Seven Network is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Artist to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing high-quality program graphics and animations for our 6PM News across local markets in NSW, Victoria, and WA.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive individual to work closely with journalists, producers, and production teams to bring news stories to life through compelling visuals. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Designing and executing high-quality graphics for news, weather, and promos.
* Collaborating with journalists and producers to create engaging visual content.
* Ensuring all on-air graphics meet industry standards and brand guidelines.
* Maintaining an efficient graphics library and keeping up with the latest design trends.
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure timely delivery of graphics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* 1-3 years professional experience in graphic design.
* Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and a basic understanding of Final Cut Pro.
* A degree, diploma or similar qualification in graphic design.
* Experience in a fast-paced production environment (TV/ broadcast media experience is a plus, but not essential).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Producers, Directors, and Reporters.
