Reliability Engineer
Job Summary:
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for optimizing maintenance strategies, conducting failure investigations and maintaining condition monitoring programs to enhance equipment reliability.
* Utilize condition monitoring data to manage and report on equipment risk.
* Manage statutory equipment with assistance from the Asset Management team.
* Optimize reliability, eliminate losses, maximize utilization and asset life in a safe and cost-effective manner.
* Responsible for minor improvement projects around the Concentrator.
* Review, develop and align maintenance strategies.
* Work with production, maintenance and other stakeholders to identify and develop engineering solutions to reduce repetitive failures and issues that adversely affect plant operations.
* An understanding in maintenance management systems (SAP), experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, as well as demonstrated experience in Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centred maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis is desirable.
* Assist in mentoring graduate engineers and vacation students.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree - Mechanical Engineering.
* Proactive, self-motivated, result-driven individual with excellent communication skills.
* The ability to work under pressure in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Focus on safety through care rather than compliance.
* Ability to work autonomously.

About this Role:
This role involves working in a residential environment, reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer – Concentrator Maintenance. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing the condition monitoring program, working with production, maintenance and other stakeholders to identify and develop engineering solutions to reduce repetitive failures and issues that adversely affect plant operations.
