About the Job
This role involves selling, managing, and planning all social, wedding, and corporate events at our esteemed establishment. Key responsibilities include:
* Actively soliciting new business through active promotion, solicitation, and prospecting to meet or exceed revenue targets.
* Conducting hotel tours and entertaining planners of meetings, social events, and weddings.
* Finalizing confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through upselling and ensuring effective communication.
* Ensuring accuracy of banquet checks and providing bill review on the completion of programs or events.
* Managing extensive competitor research and maintaining excellent product knowledge of the hotel.
* Coordinating contracts, payment policies, and services contracted are handed over to Banquet Operations with all details clarified and detailed to ensure total customer satisfaction is achieved.
* Supervising associates within the department, ensuring the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Training Certification Manual.
