Barista and Cafe Allrounder Job
The role of Barista and Cafe Allrounder involves creating a welcoming environment for residents and their families to socialize over hot or cold beverages and snacks. As a key member of the hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food and drinks, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and service area, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
* Welcome all customers with a warm, friendly, and helpful personality
* Serve a range of snacks, including hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, muffins, etc.
* Prepare and serve hot and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages - a barista certificate and the ability to make quality coffee are essential
* Clean the kitchen, service areas, and dining area around the coffee shop
* Follow and execute daily, weekly, and monthly procedures to maintain high-quality cafe operations
* Collaborate with the Chef Manager regarding supply needs to run the cafe smoothly
* E nsure the cafe area is free from hazards, trips, slips, or other safety issues
* Maintain a professional, respectful, and inviting cafe environment that reflects the company positively
* Provide backup support in dining room service when required
About You:
We value attitude and aptitude over experience. Formal qualifications like Cert II in Hospitality are highly regarded but not mandatory. What matters most is your friendly disposition, willingness to assist others, and experience in customer service or hospitality, such as retail, coffee shops, bars, or restaurants.
Additionally, you must have:
* Proven barista and cafe hospitality experience with a passion for excellent customer service
* A strong safety mindset and the ability to identify and remove hazards
* The ability to work independently, be proactive, confident, and communicate effectively, especially with kitchen staff
* Problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to perform at a high standard
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to make customers feel welcomed
* Flexibility and good availability to cover shifts
