About the Role
Our client based in Kalgoorlie branch are looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join a dedicated team at one of Australia's largest lifting equipment sales and service companies. This is a role where your reliability, work ethic, and positive attitude make a real difference.
You'll be handling a mix of warehouse and light workshop duties, making this ideal for someone who wants variety and opportunities for career growth in warehousing, service, and production.
Shift Timings & Salary
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 4:00pm (optional occasional overtime)
Pay: $35-$40 per hour, plus medical benefits and potential forklift training support
What You'll Be Doing
Receiving, unloading, and picking & packing stock
Coordinating outgoing goods to meet customer and branch needs
Managing stock documentation and updating ERP systems
Conducting stocktakes, inventory adjustments, and quality checks
Assisting with in-workshop testing, inspection, and minor assembly of lifting equipment
Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organised
Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and freight providers
Candidates with the right attitude may progress toward service technician responsibilities, while still performing warehouse duties.
What We're Looking For
Has a valid driver's license
Has a valid LF forklift ticket - minimum 1 year experience
Comfortable with warehouse and physical work, including lifting up to 15-20kg safely
Experienced in warehousing, distribution, or workshop support
Competent with computers, ERP systems, and basic data entry
Reliability and punctuality someone who is keen to be working for a national company
Skilled in stock management, picking, packing, and dispatch
Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team
Willing to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
Desirable skills include experience with industrial or lifting equipment, first aid certification, and exposure to manufacturing or rigging environments.
