We're looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join our Manufacturing team in Minto. If you're skilled in maintaining, repairing, and optimising injection moulding tools and enjoy solving problems on the fly, this is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, hands-on environment.

About You
You are a qualified Toolmaker with strong experience in injection moulding tooling and would like the opportunity to work on large tonnage tooling up to ****T. You bring a high level of precision, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You are confident reading technical drawings, operating toolroom equipment, and working safely in a fast paced manufacturing environment. You take pride in quality work and enjoy contributing to continuous improvement.
You will be available to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 3.30pm at our plant in Minto with a monthly rostered day off (RDO).
Tradesman Certificate Engineering – Toolmaking or equivalent
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in injection moulding tooling
Strong machining experience including lathe, mill, and grinder
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tooling schematics
Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a team focused attitude
Role & Responsibility
Maintain, repair, and modify injection moulding tools to support reliable production
Complete tooling adjustments, improvements, and engineering change requirements
Assist with tool trials, sampling runs, and new product introductions
Improve tooling performance including cooling, venting, gating, and cycle time
Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to diagnose and resolve issues
Support continuous improvement activities and contribute ideas for optimisation
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all H&S standards.
