Clinical Nurse Specialists are sought to deliver high-quality clinical services to young people and their families in the North of Tasmania.
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) in Tasmania is expanding, and we are seeking passionate and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our multidisciplinary teams. The positions available are within new teams currently being developed as initiatives under the CYMHS reform program.
The successful applicants will have a passion for providing person-centred care and working within a collaborative team environment. They will be responsible for undertaking clinical services through complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialized treatment programs.
* They will work alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania.
* They will collaborate with a diverse group of clinicians as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Applicants who have undertaken training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) would be highly regarded.
