Signwriter Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Signwriter
This role involves working with clients to determine signage composition from proposals, sketches, and written instructions.
* Sign Design and Production: Utilize computer software and signmaking machinery to design and produce signs and graphics.
* Crafting Signs: Measure and calculate letter sizes, prep surfaces, apply background paint using brushes, sprays, or rollers, and fashion letters with brushes, stencils, enamel paint, and decals.
* Diverse Signage: Develop wall murals, screen prints, gold leaf work, and custom vehicle art.
* Painting and Finishing: Apply lacquers, varnishes, paints, and various materials for sign and lettering painting.
* Variety of Surfaces: Paint signs on various surfaces such as brick, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and others.
* 3D Sign Construction: Construct and install three-dimensional signs.
* Cost Estimation: Create cost estimates for labor and materials.
* Teamwork: Work in a team environment.
