Role Overview
The Sales Support Officer provides frontline support to tradespeople participating in the NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) and the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. EC provides services as an Accredited Person (AP) and Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP), and this role helps our clients navigate program eligibility, documentation, evidence requirements, and claim submission processes.
This is an entry‐level opportunity suited to a motivated graduate with strong communication skills and commercial acumen. The role offers a clear career pathway into business development and account management.

Key Responsibilities: Client Support – ESS & VEU Programs
Work alongside Senior Business Development Managers to:
* Provide phone and email support to clients, predominantly tradespeople.
* Assist clients with ESS/VEU documentation and evidence requirements.
* Guide clients on eligibility and program updates.
* Ensure claims are complete and compliant.
Assist Clients with Requests for Information
* Log enquiries and track claim progress.
* Follow up on missing documentation.
* Escalate complex issues where needed.
* Customer Experience & Relationship Building
Assist Clients with Requests for Information

* Build rapport with tradespeople through excelling at customer service.

Skills & Experience (Essential)
* Graduate or 0–2 years' experience.
* Strong, clear communication skills, both written and oral.
* Confidence with tradespeople.
* Attention to detail with documentation.
* Willingness to learn ESS and VEU program rules.
* Customer‐focused with commercial mindset.
Desirable
* Experience with trades/energy efficiency/compliance.
* Familiarity with CRM tools, in particular HubSpot.
