About the Opportunity
Step into a role where your communication skills and problem solving ability make a real difference. As our Debt Management Officer, you'll be the main point of contact for all debt-related enquiries, guiding community members toward workable repayment solutions and coordinating the debt recovery process with confidence and professionalism.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, resolving problems and contributing to positive community outcomes while maintaining a professional, customer focused approach. You will manage debt and revenue enquiries across phone, email and face to face interactions, build respectful relationships with debtors, negotiate and monitor repayment plans through to completion and coordinate follow ups and collection activities, including working with Debt Recovery Agents when legal action is required.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate IV in Credit Management, Financial Services, or a relevant qualification, along with relevant experience in a role focused on managing debt recovery and customer resolution. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to a range of stakeholders. Your experience will also include confidently negotiating outcomes and resolving issues in sometimes challenging or sensitive situations.

Remuneration
$81,605 - $94,490 per annum plus superannuation
