The Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) is seeking expression of interests for a number of Events and Administration Assistants to join the Workforce Team.
The Events and Administration Assistant is part of the rotating flexible workforce that are allocated to various teams within LLE to provide peak load operation support. The major responsibilities may include conducting various duties when assigned to different teams:
* Assisting in the preparation and delivery of graduation ceremonies;
* Providing general counter services such as collecting forms, issuing replacement ID cards and distributing testamurs;
* Respond to call enquiries from prospective learners wanting to study at UTS as well as conduct outbound calling campaigns to prospective learners
* Assisting in administrative tasks that support the peak load operations of back-of-house teams including processing VTACs, trimming and scanning, data entry, duplicate e-Request clean up and outbound calls;
Casual Work and Working in a Flexible Workforce Team
This opportunity suits candidates who:
* are looking for casual work and enjoy a variety of tasks working with various teams
* enjoy working in a high pressure customer service and events environment
* has computer literacy skills including a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to send/receive emails
* have the ability to learn basic functions within a student data base system
Optional additional availability for our outbound calling campaigns:
* Training: 23 to 27 March 2026
* Required availability: Minimum 3 days per week from 30 March to 1 May
Mandatory required availability for our Graduation Period:
* Training: 4-5 May 2026
* Mandatory availability: Minimum 4 days per week from 7 May to 10 June 2026
Remuneration
Pay rate: $43.65 per hour (HEW 2 casual pay rate)
The university offers 12% employer provided superannuation. This appointment will be on a casual basis.
