Equipment Hire & Mining/Civil Services Business Development Manager
We are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth across our equipment hire and project services offerings within the WA mining and civil sectors.
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable building relationships in the field, promoting our capability in the market, and using internal systems to manage opportunities, pricing, and client activity.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop and grow client relationships across WA mining and civil markets
* Identify and secure opportunities across equipment hire, HSE, training & assessment, and project support services
* Actively promote company services through client engagement, marketing initiatives, and industry presence
* Manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation through to contract award
* Prepare proposals, pricing, and capability material using internal systems
* Maintain accurate records within the company's hire and CRM systems
* Work closely with operations to ensure smooth mobilisation and service delivery
* Travel within WA to meet clients, attend sites, and support business growth
About You
* Proven experience in business development within equipment hire, mining, civil, or contractor services
* Strong understanding of the WA mining and civil industries
* Confident using computer systems, CRM platforms, and hire management software
* Marketing-aware, with the ability to position services and capability effectively
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels
* Commercially driven, organised, and self-motivated
* Willingness to travel regularly across WA
