**What's the role?**
The Production Trainer Assessor supports the Prelude offshore work force through:
- Assure competency through assessment, auditing, and tracking.
- Perform certified Front Line Barrier Management (FLBM) trainer assessor role and internal verifier role.
- Develop, conduct, coordinate and improve any required training and assessment materials for Technicians, Apprentices, Trainees & Contractors.
- Identify training needs and learning opportunities using previous experience / gap analysis tools and implement an individual training plan to address learning gap.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the learning pathway aligns with Technician competence requirements.
- Continuous improvement of training and assessment material ensuring capturing of any local or global lessons learned.
The job is based in Perth with occasional travel offshore to Prelude FLNG required.
**What we need from you**
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Direct experience in the operations of an LNG, gas processing, complex hydrocarbon facility, or similar experience gained on a Major Hazards Facility.
- Experience as a panel operator preferred to support the Operating Training Simulator (OTS).
- Proficient communicator and able to engage with key stakeholders to identify and resolve challenges in a collaborative and effective manner.
- Ability to coach and mentor less experienced members of the workforce.
- Ability to identify gaps in process and provide practical solutions that can deliver continuous improvement.
