Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of maintenance contracts in Wellington. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-million-dollar contracts, overseeing contract compliance, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Lead the delivery of maintenance contracts, ensuring all works meet performance, quality, and safety expectations.
* Compliance and Reporting: Oversee contract compliance and financial performance, providing regular client reports.
* Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Team Management: Manage and mentor project delivery teams across different contract locations.
* Bid Preparation: Contribute to the preparation and bidding of upcoming IDC frameworks.
* Representation: Represent the business in stakeholder meetings and contract performance reviews.
Requirements:
* Civil Engineering or Construction Management Qualification: A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
* Maintenance Contract Delivery Experience: Proven experience in maintenance contract delivery within civil infrastructure (roading experience desirable).
* Leadership and Contract Management Skills: Strong leadership, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Contract Management Ability: Ability to manage multiple contracts across different regions.
* Contract Familiarity: Familiarity with NZTA, Council, or IDC/NOC-type contract models.
* Communication and Organisational Abilities: Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Benefits:
* Salary Range: $170,000 – $200,000 + vehicle (negotiable depending on experience)
