Rockingham General Hospital is seeking applications from qualified Resident Medical Officers interested in joining our Acute Medical Team.

This 6-month fixed-term chance will offer suitable qualified RMOs the opportunity to gain valuable on‑the‑job experience in an acute hospital setting.

Rockingham General Hospital currently has vacancies in the following specialty areas:

- Emergency Department
- General Medicine
- Additional vacancies across the hospital may be filled via this process

Working in collaboration with the Rockingham General Hospital multidisciplinary team, the RMO provides a high quality of clinical service to hospital patients under the supervision of clinical supervisors including Registrars, Consultants and other senior staff.

Recruitment pool and duration

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments with the possibility of extension(s). Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026.

Requirements and eligibility
