This role plays a critical part in supporting efficient maintenance operations by ensuring accurate ordering, tracking and availability of parts across multiple departments.

About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Parts Administrator is responsible for sourcing, ordering and managing spare parts to support maintenance, marine and project operations. You will work closely with technicians, supervisors and project teams to ensure the right parts are available at the right time, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to proactive maintenance planning.
Key responsibilities
* Source, price and order parts and components in line with purchasing policies
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, parts on hand, orders and backorders
* Liaise with maintenance, marine, projects and technical teams to identify requirements
* Interpret parts requirements using manuals and computer-based systems
* Inspect delivered parts and verify accuracy against invoices
* Maintain and organise the parts storage area
* Support maintenance planning and scheduling through efficient parts management
* Enter data and maintain databases within ERP and CMMS systems
* Prepare weekly KPI and ordering reports
* Assist with general administration as required
* Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental and company standards
About you
You are highly organised, proactive and detail-focused, with strong communication skills and a practical understanding of mechanical environments.
You will ideally have:
* Sound knowledge in a mechanical or engineering field
* Previous experience in spare parts procurement or maintenance operations
* Sound mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics and electrics
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Netsuite and CMMS systems
* ERP experience (MEX, Netsuite or similar highly regarded)
* Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A strong safety mindset and commitment to workplace compliance
Required licences and certifications:
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Construction Industry White Card
