Our client Local Dental Clinics & The House of Smile Design are a well-established Dental practice in regional New South Wales and Victoria who are currently seeking a bubbly and patient focused administration professional to join the reception team at their Echuca location.
This is currently a part-time opportunity, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our practices continue to grow.
What’s on offer
As a Receptionist you’ll play a pivotal role in the patient experience, providing excellent customer service throughout the treatment process being the first and final point of contact for all patients and being the connecting link between the clinical and administrative teams.
- Delivering exceptional service through all phone, email and face to face interactions.
- Confidently scheduling appointments to optimise daily workflow and practitioner availability, including multiplying bookings, fostering strong patient relationships to encourage patient retention, handling emergency bookings and price sensitive enquiries, conducting appointment commitment and confirmation conversations.
- Maintaining patient records whilst upholding strict patient confidentiality and privacy in line with practice standards. Ensuring patient details, reports and documents are up to date and reviewed by clinical teams prior to new patient appointments.
- Performing administrative, financial and marketing tasks as required.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence including referral letters and specialist reports (written and electronic).

What you will bring to the role
- Exceptional human relations skills, including demonstrated high levels of interpersonal communication and collaborative teamwork.
- Relevant medical administration experience (Desirable but not essential).
- Ability to maintain an outgoing, can do, customer service attitude with patients and team, including when under pressure.
- Ability to manage interruptions and juggle competing priorities effectively in a patient facing role.
- Attention to detail at the highest level to achieve accurate outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously across all areas of the role.
- Strong time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and following the daily appointment schedule.
