Apply your Vocational Education Training expertise to assist school-based trainers and assessors deliver quality VET programs to secondary students.
The Department of Education and Trainings' (DET) Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is dedicated to delivering nationally accredited Vocational Education Training (VET) programs to school-aged students across the entire Northern Territory. The goal is to extend the provision of VET programs to urban and remote schools in the region with a focus on developing contextualised programs, cultivating a skilled VET workforce, and facilitating the delivery of high-quality VET to result in outcomes for students. The RTO actively shapes tailored programs that align with post-school aspirations, catering to the Territory's diverse educational, workforce and community needs.
As a Senior VET Advisor your primary objective is to oversee the design, development, and implementation of VET programs for secondary school students, and collaborate with industry and schools to provide accurate guidance and comprehensive support to stakeholders in a complex service environment.
Supporting the DET's RTO you will ensure the delivery of quality programs in schools, including guidance and assistance for school-based trainers and assessors, and quality assurance and development of compliant and contextualised resources to ensure delivery of vocational education and training that meets regulatory standards. This role will make good use of your experience working within the VET sector, your industry knowledge and ability to deliver appropriate VET solutions. In addition, your strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills, supported by your ability to work effectively with diverse populations and collaborative relationships building skills will ensure your success.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or Diploma in Adult Education and experience in an RTO or TAFE will be well received
