We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves creating solution architecture that delights our customers and providing technical expertise on customer product and solution demonstrations.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who thrives in a high-profile, customer-facing role with 3+ years of cybersecurity experience. You will be responsible for actively participating in solution-led sales calls and prospect visits, gathering requirements to develop properly specified and sized solutions, and creating market-differentiating solicited and unsolicited solution proposals.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively participate in solution led sales calls and prospect visits to qualify the customer's requirements
* Gather requirements to develop properly specified and sized solutions that ensure bill of materials (BOM) meets use case requirements, within the customer's business needs
* Create and present market-differentiating solicited and unsolicited solution proposals
* Build a trusted relationship within targeted accounts and Partners to expand the existing footprint and drive competitive displacements
* Own the comprehensive, consultative technical or solution response to RFIs/RFPs
* Lead proof of value (POV) as required from an engagement
* Support customer beta activities and early adopter programs
* Collaborate with key Partners to enable them to position our solutions together with their service offerings
Requirements
* Thrive in a high-profile, customer-facing role with 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
* Are a demonstrated technical specialist in one of these technologies: Secure Service Edge Solutions & architectures; Cloud and Virtualization security; Data protection and privacy; Networking, Web Proxy and SDWAN; Workload and Container security
* Love presenting and showcasing innovative technologies, solutions and approaches
* Have a bias for technical detail
* Demonstrate an instinctive understanding of customer context and capability
* Demonstrate an ability to effectively adapt to relevant customer use cases and improvement opportunities
