About The Role
The role of an Operator is vital to the success of our business. Supported by your leader and the experienced team, you will learn to be responsible for supporting our operational departments to ensure the safe and sustainable production of aluminium through the operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment in conjunction with manual duties. You'll be working in a hot, physically demanding environment, doing manual work that will challenge you. But you won't be doing it alone. You'll be part of a tight‐knit, supportive team that's got your back from day one. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience to build a rewarding career. Key Responsibilities
* Support operational departments for safe and sustainable aluminium production.
* Work collaboratively in a strong team setting.
* Operate cranes, drive mobile equipment, control processes, cast hot metal, and more.
What You'll Bring
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
* A current driver's licence.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously manage your workload.
* A willingness to work in a labour‐intensive role, at heights and in hot environments.
* Ability to work on a shift roster of 12‐hour shifts including days and nights.
