The Senior Lecturer (Pharmacology) will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in particular that of the Pharmaceutical Sciences discipline. More specifically, you will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate and Honours degree programs and for maintaining and advancing your scholarly and research professional capabilities.

About The Role
The Senior Lecturer (Pharmacology) role will involve course (subject/unit) coordination, leading the design, development, and improvement of curriculum, and may also have responsibility for program management.
To Be Successful For This Position, You’ll Have
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver Pharmacology (and related) courses and programs, including development of high quality curriculum and program materials and implementation of innovative approaches to student-centred learning and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Pharmacology and related areas. Specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas would be desirable: therapeutic pharmacology, clinical trials, human research ethics and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake course (subject/unit) coordination role and capacity to undertake academic leadership roles, including those related to degree program management and work-integrated learning/placements.
- Demonstrated ability to support student issues related to effective learning.
Qualifications
Mandatory: PhD in Pharmacology or a related field.

The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences comprises three Academic areas: Clinical Sciences, Health Sciences, and Medical Sciences.
