The City is seeking an experienced Recreation Officer to join the City Spaces Team. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing high quality community programs and services and effectively managing community facilities.
You will actively provide and facilitate a range of recreational social activities and support services for the local City of Sydney community. In particular, you will facilitate recreational programs that respond to priority needs of the City of Sydney community.
You will have excellent customer service skills and experience in delivering community programs, along with an understanding of community development issues. You will also have experience in event or project management, including planning, implementation and evaluation with excellent organisational, written and communication skills. Experience in facility operations will be highly regarded. The successful candidate may be required to work across a 7-day roster, including evening shifts.
