About the Role

The Agency are currently recruiting for Product Manager (EL1) to join our team on a Full-time ongoing basis. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the product management function for Clinical Learning Australia (CLA) – a national ePortfolio platform supporting the training and assessment of Postgraduate Year 1 and Year 2 prevocational doctors across Australia. CLA is currently in production and being transitioned into our organisation for ongoing enhancement and operational support. This is a senior-level role, requiring leadership across a multi-disciplinary team. You will be the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for CLA, responsible for managing all product-related queries and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.

The EL1 Product Manager leads the development and delivery of the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with agency goals and the interoperability requirements of the Australian healthcare sector. The EL1 Product Manager is responsible for prioritising, defining, and delivering products that meet business objectives and customer needs while managing risks to maximise value. They will define and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap throughout its lifecycle, including gathering market insights, prioritising features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, developer, design, test, solution architect, cyber security, policy, privacy, clinical safety, operations, and communication & marketing. Advocating for the user experience is crucial to ensure successful product development and market adoption.

Essential Criteria - Skills and Experience

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on digital products and understanding of software development processes
* Highly organised with extensive knowledge of digital transformation and interoperability.
* Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present product ideas.
* Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management, with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements.

Eligibility

* Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
