This role is responsible for the commercial, contractual, and financial management of the Infrastructure and Equipment portfolio which is inclusive of the Estates and Managed Equipment Service (MES) in accordance with the Head Contract, Service Specifications and Subcontracts.
**About you**
As the Commercial and Contracts Lead you will be accountable for the management and control of the effective implementation of the commercial framework and processes, including head contract and subcontract administration (change management), commercial risk analysis, cost control, invoicing and reporting to ensure the business objectives are achieved. You will work with a high attention to detail, possess solid influencing and negotiation skills, have the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and be comfortable engaging with the senior leadership team. You are a respectful and professional individual who demonstrates exceptional values in everything you do.
**_To be successful in this role you will have:_**
- Successful completion of tertiary qualifications, where relevant
- Significant experience in dealing with subcontractors, markets in which they operate within a multisource environment.
- Exposure to Medical Equipment industry
- Successfully completed Year 12 or equivalent
- Understanding of contractual procedures from purchasing to contract management and contract closure.
- Experience in business case creation, management and delivery which demonstrates new ways of thinking.
- Strong budget management experience and principles in practice.
- Demonstrate customer orientation and sense of urgency to all deliverables.
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
