Asset and Facilities Support Officer, Clerk Grade 3/4 -Wollongong State Headquarters

* Full-time temporary position until 30 June 2026
* Location: Wollongong State Headquarters (some flexibility can be considered)
About the opportunity
The Asset and Facilities Support Officer (AFSO) delivers high quality, customer focused strategies and administrative services to enable NSW SES to meet its operational and statutory requirements.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
* Provide excellent customer service for all fleet-related enquiries.
* Perform various administrative tasks to support the fleet team.
* Manage and coordinate pool and Executive fleet asset replacement schedules.
* Handle total loss insurance claims.
* Organise and respond to internal and external correspondence, including managing the Fleet inbox and Service Desk, in a timely and efficient manner.
* Process equipment orders and oversee communication and change management activities for the delivery of new assets and the collection of assets being retired from service.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:

* Understand program and project management methodologies and best practice.
* Have knowledge of NSW Government Procurement, Supply and Fleet policy and practices.
* Have demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
