Film Distribution Coordinator
Australia's leading impact film production house, Moonshine Agency, is seeking a full-time film distribution coordinator to work on-site from its headquarters in Richmond, Victoria, on the release of its upcoming feature documentary, Conquering Breast Cancer.
Full-time from February 2026 to July 2026, with the opportunity for an extension.
The film will be released in cinemas nationwide from June 2026, and the successful candidate will be working on logistics and publicity relating to the theatrical release.
This is a contract position that requires a strong level of commitment and dedication but offers a huge opportunity for the right candidate.

Earlier films in the Conquering Cancer series have featured famous faces, including Hugh Jackman, and have been broadcast in over 75 countries, recognised with dozens of awards, and have built a social media following of over 1 million followers.
Now we need the help of a
talented film distribution coordinator to ensure this latest film in the series is successfully released
on the big screen to full houses.

Tasks may include:
* Ensuring smooth roll-out of theatrical screenings of Conquering Breast Cancer across Australia.
* Identifying potential local promoters for event screenings.
* Promoting event opportunities through digital marketing, printed materials, and social media.
* Responding to inbound enquiries regarding event screenings.
* Development, upkeep, and circulation of event marketing materials to registered promoters.
* Monitoring ticket sales of registered events and identifying potential audiences.
* Ensuring the film's producers, sponsors, keynote speakers, and VIPs are kept up to date on the events.
* Researching potential locations to run events.
* Assisting with the preparation of event run sheets and working closely with local promoters to ensure the successful delivery of each event.
* On-site event support when required - bump-in, set-up, and bump-out.
* Helping with the publicity for the theatrical release by engaging with media contacts.
* Coordinating photography and videography of select events.
* Speaker liaison – communicating with event speakers to collect bios and images to include in event promotions.
* Updating the project website as new events are registered with the ticketing link, date, location, host, and guest speaker details.
* Assist with collecting post-event feedback via on-site vox pops, emails, surveys, and phone calls.
Desired skills & experience:
* Strong command of spoken and written English.
* Strong phone, computer, and organisational skills.
* Highly developed communications skills (written and verbal).
* Incredibly organised with an eagle eye for detail.
* Love dealing with people.
* Experience in film distribution, event coordination or project management.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities and events efficiently and effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team.
* Ability to network, engage, and build working relationships.
* Experience with WordPress is desired but not essential.
* Social media experience is advantageous.
Salary $74,000 annual package pro-rata.
