We are offering an amazing opportunity in a casual role for a qualified motor mechanic who is interested in a more flexible and rewarding role. Get away from the workshop and off the tools and be a part of this exciting growing company that is offering clean, unsupervised work for the right candidate.

* Someone who understands and is able to detect issues across a range of different vehicles
* Australian working rights (Applicants without Australian mechanical qualifications will NOT be considered)
* Ability to conduct pre-purchase vehicle inspections on vehicles ranging from family cars and 4x4's to sports and prestige vehicles

Our inspections are carried out on behalf of our customers at various private residences, commercial properties and dealerships across the Townsville and surrounding areas. The inspections take approximately 50-60 minutes to complete and we anticipate a maximum of 4-5 inspections could be carried out per day.

We are also looking for someone to assist in the Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Gympie areas should you live or travel to these areas often or know someone who does.

We provide you with:

* A paid vehicle/travel allowance for use of your own vehicle
* Training on all aspects of the role
* Carinspect apparel to attend the work
* Diagnostic scan tool/ Paint depth gauge/Vehicle Jack or ramp

Applicants must have full working rights in Australia, hold an Australian trade license as a qualified motor mechanic, a full drivers license, experience in the industry and be familiar with a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate should be well presented, is able to communicate well and has some familiarity with usage of a smart phone/mobile device.

Candidates with their own mechanic business, mobile vehicle business or even who have a part time or full time job in a workshop are encouraged to apply as this is a casual role that can supplement your current work schedule.

Should you have any questions or seek more information on the role please feel free to reach to Paul at Carinspect.
