Speech Pathologist (Sunshine Coast)

Intrinsic Health Group is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team on the Sunshine Coast. This permanent role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to build a varied community-based caseload within a supportive allied health environment.
This position will suit a clinician who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering meaningful outcomes for clients across the community.
About the Role
This is an in-person role based on the Sunshine Coast, available full-time or part-time for the right candidate.
The caseload will primarily support adult clients within Support at Home and aged care services, with opportunities to work with NDIS and private clients as the service grows. Services are delivered across home, community and clinic environments.
There is flexibility to develop areas of clinical interest as referral pathways expand.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver speech pathology assessment and intervention across home, community and clinic settings
* Support adults with communication and swallowing needs
* Provide interventions to maintain safety, independence and quality of life
* Deliver services to Support at Home, aged care, NDIS and private clients
* Provide education and strategies to clients, families and carers
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and funding requirements
* Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and other clinicians
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
About You
* Speech Pathology Australia membership
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
* Previous clinical experience preferred (role not suited to new graduates)
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
* Experience or interest in aged care, Support at Home and community practice
* Current driver’s licence
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWC or willingness to obtain
* COVID and influenza vaccination evidence
* Full working rights in Australia
* Willingness to travel across the Sunshine Coast region as required
