About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol-related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands, and Banana areas, serving a catchment population of over 250,000, with services located in each area.
About the role:
* Work collaboratively with headspace services to support a seamless service experience for adolescents and young people (12-25 years) with mental health or drug misuse needs referred to headspace, ensuring the right service at the right time.
* Maximize clinician availability and build essential relationships by being physically co-located with headspace, as much as practical.
* Support the capacity of headspace staff to assess and respond to adolescents and young people with complex mental health or substance use presentations through a consultation liaison and clinical in-reach model.
* Facilitate streamlined referrals to Queensland Health MHAOD services for adolescents and young people aged 12-25 requiring a 'step up' or 'step down' in clinical care.
About you:
Appointment requires proof of qualification and registration with the appropriate authority, including endorsements, prior to starting.
Hold qualifications and registration in one of the following:
* Occupational Therapy
* Psychology
* Social Work
* Registered Nursing

Total remuneration up to $82,105 p.a., comprising:
* Hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58
