What you can expect in a day in this role :
We are excited to be recruiting for a Hotel Manager for the extensively renovated and loved venue, The Mont. Reporting to the Vantage General Manager, you will be expected to be hands-on with the daily operations, leading the team to overall venue success.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
* Day-to-day running of gaming rooms, bistro, and accommodation
* Supervise and support staff during shifts across the property
* Manage and maintain staff rosters
* Assisting with budgets and cost control measures
* Handle elevated customer queries and questions
* Ensure all policies and procedures are always adhered to, including gaming regulations
What you'll bring to the role:
* Experience in an operational senior management position within the hospitality industry or a related industry, including proven experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and growing profitability
* Demonstrated practical experience in the delivery of customer service, leading a high-performing team
* Well-rounded, current gaming knowledge, and applied knowledge of relevant legislation/regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
* Availability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificate,
* Certificate IV/Diploma in Hospitality or above (desirable)
