About the role
The Port Kembla Hospital Physiotherapy Department offers a supportive, collaborative, and clinically excellent environment for early‐career physiotherapists to grow and thrive. You will join a highly experienced team with strong expertise across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, complex orthopaedics, persistent pain, amputee rehabilitation, and neurodegenerative conditions. Our approachable and invested Musculoskeletal Clinical Educators provide close, hands‐on supervision and mentorship, ensuring you feel supported, challenged, and confident as you develop your practice.
Responsibilities
* Manage a broad and varied outpatient caseload, developing depth and confidence in the assessment and management of common orthopaedic and musculoskeletal presentations.
* Work with more complex and less frequently encountered conditions, with support to grow in practice.
* Participate in quality improvement activities, service development initiatives, and project work.
* Support student placements under the guidance of senior clinicians.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in the outpatient Musculoskeletal setting with both individual and group-based interventions.
* Vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current AHPRA Registration.
* Valid NSW Driver2 dfls Licence.
