BIKE MECHANIC/ATTENDANT -

This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer experience by helping clients select, operate and maintain high quality electric mountain bikes. It focuses on ensuring each rider enjoys a seamless and memorable journey by providing expert guidance and briefings, performing routine maintenance and delivering outstanding service. With a passion for E-bikes and customer satisfaction, this position contributes to a welcoming and engaging environment while ensuring all bikes are safe, well maintained and perfectly suited to each customer’s needs.

Responsibilities –
* Provide guidance on the trail network and complete inductions.
* Conduct E-bike rental bookings and customer reservations.
* Conduct briefings on equipment usage and bike usage area
* Perform routine maintenance, safety checks and repairs on E-bikes.
* Ensure bikes are in optimal condition before and after each rental.
* Assist customers with store purchases of merchandise and technical products.
* Conduct and record daily inspections and cleaning of bikes.
* Perform trail maintenance to ensure safe and enjoyable riding conditions.
* Facilitate off-road recovery of guests and equipment from trails.
* Educate customers on bike operation, safety protocols and recommended routes.
* Handle bookings, payments, cash up and customer inquiries efficiently.
* Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop and rental environment.
Qualifications –
* Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a bike workshop (Essential) (E-bike-specific training can be provided; prior exposure is advantageous).
* Passionate and knowledgeable about mountain biking, with at least three years of riding experience (Essential)
* Open / unrestricted driver's license (Essential)
* Eligible and willing to obtain QLD Restricted Driver Authority (Desirable)
* Sales experience or strong product knowledge relevant to the role (Desirable)
* Experience in the tourism industry (Desirable)
