Sales experience is essential, and while wholesale industry knowledge is preferred, we’re open to training the right person.Please note: the first 3 months of this role will be a training and probation period based on the sales floor, where you’ll gain firsthand product and customer knowledge to set you up for success.Responsibilities:As a Sales Account Specialist at Profresh, you will:Manage a portfolio of B2B customers by nurturing long-term relationships, understanding their evolving business needs, and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.Act as the main point of contact for your assigned customer base by responding to queries, inputting orders using the Profresh system, proactively communicating progress, and following up post-delivery for feedback and improvement.Process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, working closely with the purchasing and dispatch teams to ensure seamless fulfilment and timely delivery.Proactively anticipate customer needs by setting aside stock, proposing tailored product solutions, and making delivery or freight arrangements as required.Handle customer issues with a solution-focused mindset - identify problems, coordinate with internal teams, and follow through to ensure complete resolution.Collaborate with the Sales Manager on strategic sales plans and review sales metrics regularly to identify growth opportunities and performance trends.Conduct regular reviews and meetings with customers to discuss order patterns, address challenges, and promote account expansion where relevant.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Profresh's CRM system, including order history, contact details, customer preferences, pricing, and delivery details.Assist customers with product inquiries, seasonal availability, and custom floral sourcing requests, especially during major calendar events and peak periods.Support the sales floor and Sales Assistant responsibilities as required, especially during seasonal surges while maintaining clear internal communication to uphold Profresh’s high service standards.Qualifications:We’re looking for someone who is:A confident and proactive communicator who gives customers their full attention and follows through on every interaction.A strong relationship builder with a customer-first mindset and a passion for creating long-term value.Efficient, organised, and calm under pressure, able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and fast-paced days.Technically capable and eager to learn, with a habit of coming prepared and taking initiative during quiet periods.Accountable and solution-focused, communicating early when deadlines shift and always aiming to deliver complete, high-quality work.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have experience in a sales role?Do you have customer service experience?How many years' experience do you have as an Accounts Manager?
