About Kids' Early Learning
Here at Council, we own and operate a childcare business, Kids’ Early Learning, with a portfolio of 27 childcare centres and over 70 family daycare educators.
Kids’ Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part time and casual staff, and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 1700 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.

About The Opportunity
Join Our Team at Kids’ Early Learning Eastern Creek OSHC! We’re looking for a passionate and experienced OSHC Child Care Assistant to join our new service on a full-time, term contract 12-month contract.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work split shifts covering both AM and PM shifts across 5 days per week.
You’ll play a key part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Essential qualifications and experience
- Experience in the Early Childhood Field
- Certificate III in Children’s Services
- Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
- Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018
- Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work
Desirable
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Computer Literate
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
Remuneration and Benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,197.30 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs
This position has been identified as child related work, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013.
Therefore, your application must include a Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
