This is a permanent part-time position that involves supporting a dynamic team in a collaborative work environment.
The primary responsibilities include:
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene by completing laundry tasks according to established routines and project cleaning schedules;
• Ensuring infection control and occupational health and safety requirements are met for laundry tasks, including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals;
• Contributing to the development of a culture that promotes Calvary's values of healing, hospitality, stewardship, and respect;
Responsibilities Include:
• Conducting routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules, including mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, and restocking supplies;
• Operating mechanical cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners, and hard floor scrubbers;
• Ensuring ample supplies of clean linen, towels, and laundry skip bags are consistently stocked in designated storage areas within the home;
