Salary: Total remuneration $85,221 to $92,396 per annum (including salary $72,013 to $78,076 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading).

The Capricornia Stronger Places, Stronger People initiative is a long‐term, community‐led approach focused on improving outcomes for children and families through early intervention and local solutions. We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support evidence‐based decision‐making and deliver meaningful community outcomes across the Capricornia region.
This position provides technical expertise in data collection, management, analysis and reporting. You will design and maintain datasets, dashboards and reporting tools that monitor program outcomes, support evaluation activities and inform strategic planning. Working closely with community partners, academic staff and stakeholders, you will translate complex data into clear, accessible insights and contribute to ethical, participatory and place‐based data practices.
Based primarily on campus in Rockhampton, this position supports outcomes across the wider Capricornia Region. Capricornia offers a connected regional lifestyle with access to coastline, rural landscapes and national parks. Position Requirements
* Demonstrated high‐level capability with statistical analysis and data visualisation tools such as Excel, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent platforms.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and analysis into clear insights for diverse, non‐technical audiences.
* Understanding of, or the ability to quickly develop expertise in, strengths‐based, place‐based and participatory approaches to working with communities in regional and remote contexts.
* Proven project management skills, including planning, prioritisation and delivery across concurrent workstreams.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex datasets, undertaking advanced analysis, and producing actionable insights that inform decision‐making.
* Current open driver's licence and eligibility to hold a Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
