About Us
We're a locally owned and operated landscaping company providing high-quality landscape construction solutions around Launceston and Deloraine areas in Northern Tasmania. We're fully equipped with all the tools and machinery needed to deliver premium results — including tipper truck & excavator and a well‑organised tools trailer.
The Role
As a Leading Hand, you'll be hands‑on in all aspects of landscape construction and responsible for assisting with:
* Supervising and mentoring team members on‑site
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not required for this position
* Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and within time frames
* Coordinating tools, materials, and workflow efficiently
* Communicating with clients and the management team
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in landscape construction
* Cert III Landscape Construction (or higher) an advantage
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Competence in operating machinery (excavator, skid steer, etc.)
* Sound knowledge of construction techniques and site safety
* Full driver's license (MR license or machinery tickets an advantage)
