About the Role
Ramboll is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contaminated Land Auditor Assistant to join our team in North Sydney. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental professionals and contribute to high-profile contaminated land projects. You will support our accredited auditors in conducting environmental assessments, compliance reviews, and remediation strategies for a variety of sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and review of environmental site assessments, audit reports, and remediation strategies.
* Gather, analyse, and interpret environmental data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Support the contaminated land audit process by compiling and organising documentation.
* Liaise with project teams, regulators, and stakeholders to facilitate effective environmental audits.
* Conduct site visits to assist in audits, field inspections, and sampling activities.
* Stay updated on local and national contaminated land regulations and guidelines.
* Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and risk assessments.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment, site remediation, or environmental auditing.
* Familiarity with Australian contaminated land regulations, guidelines, and risk assessment frameworks.
* Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
* Experience with environmental data analysis and GIS software is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
