The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our finance department. This is a part-time opportunity, ideally three days per week (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday). The role requires a high standard of personal demeanor, attention to detail, exceptional time management, professional communication standards, and appearance.
You will be responsible for timely payment of correct wages to employees and other company payment reconciliations. You will also work with a close-knit team on implementing process improvements, simplifications, and automation relating to the payroll team. Additionally, you will accurately enter and amend employee records, including updating salary rates and maintaining leave balances. A strong focus on customer service is essential. Administrative duties include following up enquiries from managers and employees, month-end/year-end reconciliations, and data entry as required.

* Previous payroll processing experience (essential) with demonstrated understanding of payroll procedures and related documentation.
