Essential Qualifications Current Victorian Nurses Board Registration – Registered Division 1 Nurse, AHPRA registered. Attend 20 hours of continuing education per year as per AHPRA requirements Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate; Level 2 First Aid Certificate; Working with Children Check; and Current drivers’ licence. A certificate in mental health, Diabetes or Epilepsy would be highly regarded Key Selection Criteria Must have existing work rights to work in Australia. Minimum of 3 years as a nurse, with skills in accident and emergency management. Experience in senior nursing or management roles is highly regarded. Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents, understanding their health needs and contemporary issues, and handle physical tasks associated with first aid. Strong communication skills with the ability to develop professional relationships with students, families, and staff, and liaise with health professionals, senior management, and teaching staff. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team with a balanced, tolerant, and sensitive approach. Efficiently manage day-to-day tasks with flexibility for unscheduled interruptions, and handle emergency situations and diverse student needs.
